This stainless steel 8mm threaded rod allows you to adjust the length of the shaft of industry-standard dampers without any complex machining. You simply cut the threaded rod to the length you need it, including the threaded portions that enter the damper blade and the handle.
This product ships with one stainless nut to help you clean the thread after cutting. If cutting towards one end, it is helpful to thread the nut the shorter distance before cutting so that you clean the thread by loosening the nut off the cut end after cutting.
