This door frame are made out of high quality cast iron and finished matte black high temperature paint. The viewing window is cut from high temperature neo-ceramic glass. The glass is seated in the door and the door connects to the frame with air-tight ceramic rope gaskets. The door also features an air register knob which regulates the amount of air entering into the firebox.
This door can be used on a variety of larger sized masonry heaters including 5-run, contraflow, bell, russian, and grundoven masonry heater designs. It can also be used as a door for a smoker.
Gasketing and mounting screws are included with the door.
