From the Design Studio
Work progresses in our design studio both on specific client projects and on our stock drawings.
We continue with our strategy to provide extensive documentation on our stock design, the 5-Run with Oven, which is a very versatile symmetric top-venting unit. We feel that this will help builders and designers both understand our specific system as well as help to promote masonry heaters in general by providing conceptual and detailed planning drawings.

Parting Thoughts
Our work is motivated by a mission to provide real solutions to some of the challenges we see in the world. This guides our focus on creating homes with resilient heat sources that rely on local, renewable, carbon-neutral fuel.
Electricity is often mistaken for an energy source, when it is actually a form of transmission. Currently, the composition of electrical energy in the United States is roughly 60% fossil fuel, 20% renewable, and 20% nuclear.
The issues are complex and there are no easy solutions -- but they are worth working toward!
May our strength grow as the days extend.
